Mouktar-Mohammed AVM Mouktar Mohammed (Rtd)
Chairman, Board Of Directors.

Retired Air Vice Marshal has played an important role in the. Nigerian military and goverment through the 1970's & 80s, he was  a Member of the Supreme Military Council between 1975 and 1977 was  the Federal Commissioner of Housing and Urban Development (1976 -1977), and also Military Governor of Kaduna State (1977-1978) . Upon retirement, AVM Mohammed went into r private entrepreneurship and achieved mile-stone success in the Corporate World sitting on the Boards of various National and Multi-National Companies.  He remains a pillar in socio-economic,political and traditional institutions and holds the title ,Walin Dutse in his home town,  Dutse


Ado-MohammedAlhaji Ado Mohammed
Vice chairman, Board of Directors

A highly accomplished  entrepreneur with  vast experience in business, industry  Alh Ado had a rich career in the banking sector  he was  Branch Manager of Kaduna, Kontagora and Malumfashi Branches as well as Head of Bills and Credit in Kano Branch of the then Barclays Bank (now Union Bank). He was a also pioneer management staff of the then Kano Cooperative Bank (which was subjected to several transitions and now known as the entity, Unity Bank).
   Alhaji Ado Mohammed has in the past served as the Vice-President and President of the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture and National Vice-President of the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture. He is the Chief Executive Officer of FILAPS, the parent company of Freedom Radio.


Faruk-M-DalhatuFaruk M. Dalhatu
Managing Director

A graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio; United States he  started his working career  with Arewa Bottlers Limited (1978 -1979), Chief Clerical Officer, Kano State Urban Development Board (1980 – 1981), and General Manager, Operations Dalfam Nigeria Limited (1990 -1992). A founding member of the   Freedom Radio Project (2003). Dalhatu is on the board of various  governmental and non-governmental organizations and networks including  the Jigawa State Committee on Micro Finance & Economic empowerment.f Women Health Development Network(Director), Vice Chairman of the Dutse Peoples' Development Association, to mention a few.

He is currently the Publisher/CEO of Freedom Newspapers Limited, publishers of Freedom Express Newspaper, and the  Managing Director Freedom Radio.


Bashir-M-DalhatuAlhaji Bashir M. Dalhatu - Walin Dutse
Executive Director

A reputable lawyer with  impeccable track record , he held the dignified positions of Minister of Internal Affairs (1997-1998), Minister of Power and Steel (1993-1997), Secretary for Transport and Aviation (1993), and the  Chairman of the Nigerian Agricultural and Cooperative Bank (1991-1993). He is  an accomplished industrialist, businessman, and a staunch political activist. He is aso  honorary consul of the Republic of Tunisia in Nigeria


Abbas-M-DalhatuAbbas M. Dalhatu
Executive Director

Alh Abbas   Is currently the Executive Director of Business Development at Freedom Radio Group. Prior to his appointment he was the Managing Director of Highland Waters Limited.

 


Dahiru-IbrahimEngr. Dahiru Ibrahim
Executive Director

Holds a higher certificate from the Institute of Electronics and Radio Engineers, South London; UK. He started his working career and held  several positions at the Broadcasting Company of Northern Nigeria, from 1968-1976,  was General Manager of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA Kano) from 1979-1986, and Zonal Managing Director NTA Zone D in 1985. During the course of his career, he served as a Commissioner in several ministries including  the Ministry of Works and Housing, Commerce and Industry  Lands and Regional Planning from 1986-1991 in the former Kano State.  He is the Founder and Chairman of Shimalcom Limited, a private Communications Company from 1991 to date.


Wali-Mohammed-DalhatuAlhaji Wali Mohammed Dalhatu
Director

A graduate of Alabama State University, Auburn, with a Bsc. in Finance (1986), an OND in marketing (1983). He started his career with Dalfam Nigeria Limited as a sales representative, General Manager of Arewa Paper Converters 1988, and Group Director of Duncan Oil and Gas Company 2010 to date.

 


Wada-Abdullahi-KachakoAlhaji Wada Abdullahi Kachako
Director

Holds a qualification in Electrical Engineering and a Certificate in Engineering and Management from the United Kingdom. He began his career as an Engineering Assistant at the Broadcasting Company of Northern Nigeria, was a  pioneer staff of the Nigeria Television Authority, Kano and also pioneer management staff and later General Manager/CEO of CTV 67 the present ARTV

He was an integral member of the Constitutional Assembly [Constitution Drafting] 1988/1989. Upon retirement  he. went in private practice and owns a company, MASO Energy Ltd., that specialises  in the construction of Hydro,Earth and Coffer Dams, boreholes and the design of pipelines, to mention a few.

Currently, he is a Board member of  various  Organisations  among which are; CTV 67, Kano State Rural Electrification Board, Freedom Radio, Pyramid Broadcasting Services, Integrated Development Consultants Ltd.
