An explosive item has killed 10 people including a pregnant woman in Kaduna, the capital of Kaduna state.

The explosion occured Wednesday morning at the motor spare parts market popularly called Ogbomosho area along Katsina Road opposite former Scala Cinema  in the city center.

Eyewitnesses say two suicide bombers on a motorcycle ignited the bomb, which burnt five shops in the market.

Kaduna state Police Commissioner, Bala Nassarawa has confirmed the incident.
