An Appeal Court  has affirmed the victory of Governor Patrick Yakowa of the PDP as the duly elected governor of Kaduna state in the April 2011 election thereby dismissing the petition of the CPC Candidate, Haruna Sa'eed.

The court presided over by Justice Audu Aboki upheld the ruling of the election petitions tribunal, which dismissed CPC's case for lack of merit.

He said CPC did not provide enough evidence to prove its claim of electoral fraud before the court.

IHowever, it is not yet clear whether the CPC gubernatorial candidate, Haruna Sa'eed will appeal to the Supreme Court or not.
