Gunmen kill soldiers in Kano

The Nigerian Airforce says two soldiers have been killed while another has been wounded when gunmen attacked the Airforce Comprehensive School Kwa, Thursday evening.

Commander 339 Airforce Base in Kano, Air Commodore Sani Ahmed told Freedom Radio that 12 gunmen attacked the school and were repelled by the military but no pupil was injured.

Also, the Kano state Police Command says a mobile police officer was shot by unknown gunmen at Hotoro.

Police Public Relations Officer, Magaji Musa Majiya said the officer is receiving treatment at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
