The Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Kano state branch has called on christians to use the occasion of Christmas to pray for peace across the country.

Chairman CAN Kano Bishop Ransome Bello said Nigeria needs peaceful environment to ensure economic prosperity.

Bishop Bello delivered this sermon at the Calvary Life Church in Kano shortly after bomb blasts were reported at churches in Madalla, Niger state and Jos, Plateau state.

He appreciated Federal Government's effort in promoting security and urged Nigerians to assist by informing security agents about any suspicious activities.
