Kano state Police command has arrested a corporal accused of shooting two men this morning on their way to the anti-fuel subsidy removal rally.
The two men, Hamisu Hudu and Sagir Gwammaja were shot at Kurnar Asabe area of Kano metropolis and are receiving treatment at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital.
Kano state Police Public Relations Officer ASP Magaji Musa Majiya said the police commissioner Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has directed the Criminal Investigation Department to  prosecute the suspect.
