Suspected SSS operatives have attacked the Kano zonal chairman of Academic Staff Union of Universities Dr. Abdullahi Bichi Bappa.

The armed men invited Dr. Bappa to their office but he demanded for an arrest warrant which they failed to produce.

He therefore refused to follow them and they beat him mercilessly.

They however ran away when he shouted for help.

He is currently receiving treatment at the Bayero University Kano clinic.
