He argued that community policing remained the best system that would address the current security problem in the country.

Mr. Ewuga said there is the need to go back to the basics, where the police had to record arrival and departure of citizens in order to check movements.

He said stakeholders within the community must be involved in the act of policing.

He added that village heads and local communities must be involved because criminals live with the people.
