Gunmen kill 4 policemen in Kano state

The State Police Commissioner, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris confirmed that some

unidentified people in a car ambushed the police vehicle while on patrol in the

area.

Following the incident, the Joint Military Taskforce cordoned off the area in an

effort to hunt down the assailants.

The bodies of the Police Officers have been deposited at a Hospital, while the

injured one is receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness told freedom radio that a police station at Kwana

Hudu in Nassarawa Local Government Area has been attacked.

The eyewitness said two policemen were killed in the attack including a civilian,

Malam Rabiu Soja.

He added that the attackers were on Motorcycles.
