ASUU calls for inquiry into killing of students at Nassarawa State University

He said the call was necessary in order to bring the culprits and other perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.

‘’There should be a full-scale investigation into the avoidable killing of the innocent students at the Nasarawa State University.

‘’unless the immediate and remote causes of the killings are identified and appropriate punitive measures taken against the

killers, the union will leave no stone unturned in its pursuance of justice to all the victims...

‘’Never again shall we fold our arms and watch as trigger-happy soldiers or police officers murder our students in cold blood,

said ASUU President.”

The ASUU President also called for a judicial panel of Inquiry to establish the legality or otherwise of the reappointment of

Prof. B.B Fakaye as Vice-Chancellor of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST)
