Turkey solicits stronger ties with Nigeria

According to him, it is a beautiful celebration, both countries culture have some similarities in the area

of hunting and farming.

``We like to dance just like Nigerians and both countries have very close relationship with each other in

the past.

``We are now looking to the future for stronger cultural exchanges, educational and cultural

cooperation.

``I think this will carry us forward to understand each other better. We have had a few high level

exchanges; the best is what we are looking forward to,’’ he said.

Earlier, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Chief Edem Duke, said that the

Nigeria-Turkish Friendship Cultural Festival would showcase Nigeria as a peaceful and loving people.

Duke, who was represented by the Director of Tourism in the ministry, Mr Samuel Adekino, said the

festival would also showcase the cultural potential of Nigeria and solicited for investors in the area.

The festival had arts and crafts exhibitions from states in Nigeria and Turkish.
