Gov.Kwankwaso signs Educational Trust Fund bill into law

He said the law will among other things served as intervention fund to education sectors in the state.

Correspondent Abass Yushau Yusuf reports that 5% of the state internally generated revenue will be injected into the fund, while 2% of statutory monthly allocation from the 44 local government councils of the state will also be contributed.

The governor added that 35% of the total amount generated by the fund will be expended on state owned universities and 17.5% will go to primary education.
