BUK:Students protest price increase of pure water

The Union’s President, Comrade Sani Saidu Ibrahim made the threat during a peaceful procession on the campus to protest the new price of pure water on the two campuses of the University.

Comrade Sani Ibrahim said the union has decided to fix the price of N5 per sachet and N60 per bag for traders selling pure water on the campus.

Correspondent Abubakar Abdulkadir Dangambo reports that the union further warned that any shop owner that refuses to abide by the instruction will be reported to the University’s business committee for further action.
