As the Eid-el-adha celebration is fast approaching, ram markets in Kano metropolis are increasing with different variety of stocks but customers are complaining of high prices.
A ram dealer at Unguwa Uku, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Dantasalla says the price ranges from N15,000 to N50,000.
Correspondent Mukhtar Adamu Bawa reports that while the customers are complaining of the high price most say they will however buy the rams for slaughter.
Islam expects Muslims that can afford it to slaughter sheep, goat, cattle or camel during the annual eid-al-adha in commemoration of the ram that was granted by Allah to prophet Ibrahim to slaughter instead of his son Isma'il.
