Kano donates vehicles to vigilante groups

Kano State Government has distributed fifty-five Double Cabin Hilux Vehicles to the state Vigilante Group.

Speaking during the distribution of the vehicles at the government house, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso said the vehicles were provided to enhance security of lives and properties of the people.

He said  the vigilante group will  collaborate with the Nigeria Police  to enhance their operations.

Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso also said since the inception of his administration, the state has purchased 100 vehicles which were distributed to the Military, Air Force and the Police.

In a remark, the commander general of the vigilante group of Nigeria, Alhaji Usman Mohammad commended the state government in its effort to eradicate crime in the state.

Also  the  Walin Kano, Alhaji Mahe Bashir Wali said security is the responsibility of everybody and assure the governor of Kano  emirate’s cooperation at all times.
