The Kannywood Stars Football Club defeated Freedom Galaxy 5-3 in a friendly match played Thursday afternoon at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano.

However Freedom Galaxy striker, Abdulrashid Uba Sharada was the man of the match as he scored a hat-trick against the Kannywood Stars.

Abdulrasheed Sharada scored the first two goals of the game in the first half but Kannywood player, Baba Ari equalised before half time.

In the second half, Freedom's Abdulrasheed Sharada scored his third goal but Kannywood Stars equalised and added two more goals to win the match including a goal by ace comedian, Rabilu Musa Ibro.

During the match, Freedom Galaxy player, Nasiru Salisu Zango suffered an ankle injury and was carried out on a stretcher.
