Nigerian Premier League football club Kano Pillars has thrashed Freedom Galaxy and Kannywood Stars joint team 10-0 in a novelty match Friday afternoon.

The game was organized by freedom radio as part of Eid-el-Adha celebrations.

It took place at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar mata Kano.

The professionals overwhelmed the journalists and screen actors as they scored 8-0 in the first half.

In the second half, Kano Pillars added three more goals but the third was disallowed by the referee as the Freedom Galaxy/Kannywood Stars team had twelve players on the field when the last goal was scored.
