The Military Special Task Force has relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on Barikin Ladi local government of Plateau state to dusk-to-dawn following the communal clash in the area.
Spokesman of the Task Force, Captain Charles Ekeocha said the curfew is now from 6pm to 6am because the Force believes that normalcy has returned to the area.
He said the curfew aims to contain the crisis and prevents it from spreading to other parts of Plateau state.
The clash in Barikin Ladi is the latest in a series of religious and communal clashes plaguing Plateau state for more than 10 years.
